Step by Step in IUI

• Basic blood investigations and semen analysis
• Baseline sonography on Day 2 of periods followed by starting medication for development and maturation of 2-3 eggs
• Monitoring the growth of follicles by vaginal sonography every 2-3 days and individualize drug doses
• Hormonal injection is given for rupture of follicles once they attain adequate size
• Semen sample provided on the day of ovulation, is washed,prepared and deposited into womb on that day
• Medications to support the pregnancy are given and pregnancy test is done after 2 weeks of IUI
